iHome iP46 Portable Speaker Dock Review

iHome iP46 Portable Speaker Dock Review

What good is a device if its sound system is too febrile or perhaps, not just music for the ears? Pardon the pun, but, nowadays, teenagers and adult alike have been looking for speakers, especially portable ones so that they can play their favourite pieces of music on full blast. However, this would prove to be downright annoying for the neighbourhood, but, nobody is stopping them to go ahead and get hold of a similar pair of speakers just to entertain themselves with faint pieces of Mozart or perhaps, the very popular Beethoven.

Since a few years, iHome has been serving the community like a bee does to the honey business. Low battery and faint volumes are perhaps two of the worst dilemmas that people of the 21st century have to face in relation to their massive usage of the cell phone. In order to prevent this situation, iHome developed such portable device back in 2010 which was sure to enlighten the lives of those hungry for stolen power.

Features:

Regardless of the sarcasm, iHome has been functioning at quite a low price since its inception. iHome gave birth to iP46 which is actually the portable speaker system for iPod, nano and various other Apple products. iP46 also encompasses two broad features with it; an iPod dock and a rechargeable slot. These features are perhaps some of the bright necessities of a frolicking life.

These speakers are based on the Logitech system and are one of the best functioning products of Apple up-to-date. iP46 is also known as mm50 and Pure-Fi Anywhere instead of its parent name for which it is actually known far and wide.

Despite surpassing the hotlist of raving reviews, iHome’s iP46 has also received quite a heavy negative feedback. If one begins to compare iP46 with Pure-Fi anywhere, he would come to a conclusion that perhaps the latter would have been a better choice when it comes to longer lasting battery and other resources.

For instance, Pure-Fi Anywhere contains a replaceable battery and also runs for about 8 straight hours. In contrast, iP46 does has not been dedicated about its running time and also has been proven to receive a thumbs down when it comes to the discussion of being possessed with an irreplaceable battery. This would mean that you would have to prepare yourself to buy another iHome iP46 Speaker System as soon as the battery on your previous one quits.

Also, one would also notice that with the purchase of Pure-Fi Anywhere, he would get a warranty for about two years; where as if done the same with iP46 you would get a warranty of just a single year.

Despite all these differences, one must acknowledge the Logitech system as it has been functioning on an equal basis in both of the devices. There is quite a little range of drivers ranging from treble to bass drivers. However, those customers who have been using the iP46 system may agree to the fact that its speakers may tend to prolong the effects of the bass drivers. In the end, it is all a matter of about a hundred dollars. Both the devices have surprisingly staked their mainstay at about a hundred dollars each. However, some of these may also reach up to the vivid range of 120-150$, but, in rare cases.
